I joined Sovereign in early 2025 with a principal focus on working with the management teams of our portfolio companies to help them grow and develop their businesses, utilising the investment and operational experience that I have gained across many different sectors and situations.
I began my private equity career more than 20 years ago when I became a partner in a start-up firm, Kelso Place Asset Management, which we developed into an award-winning special situations investor known for its proactive and hands-on approach to acquiring and restructuring distressed businesses and complex corporate carve outs. I subsequently broadened my experience in mainstream mid-market private equity with a stint at LDC before becoming a partner at lower mid-market firm Chiltern Capital, where I was responsible for a number of transformational investments.

The beginning of my career, after qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte, was spent in various operational, finance and investment roles in large corporates, including British Gas and Kvaerner.
When not at a desk, I can often be found outdoors cycling, skiing or on the water, usually trying to keep up with my children.
