Sovereign-backed Murgitroyd wins BVCA Vision award

Murgitroyd, a leading European provider of IP services backed by Sovereign Capital Partners, has won a BVCA Vision 2024 award for Scotland in recognition of its commitment to growth, client service and ESG principles.

Sovereign invested in Glasgow-headquartered Murgitroyd in 2019, supporting its growth with four strategic acquisitions and strengthening the management team, most recently with the appointments of a new Chair, Neil Penhall, and CFO, Andy Moss. Today, it is the largest IP practice in the UK and one of the largest operators in Europe, employing more than 440 people, including over 120 attorneys across 22 offices.
